ORIGINAL CHARACTERS
𝑶𝑹𝑰𝑮𝑰𝑵𝑨𝑳 𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑪𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑺:
First and foremost, when creating an original character, the character must derive from one of the anime/game worlds listed in our roster. They must come from one of those worlds. They can't be an original from an original world. They have to fit in with our roster. Your character will suffer the same these canon characters will. Before joining the story-line, they had a past and memories in a different world that is forgotten now, but may come back later.You'll want to know who they were in their prior world and who they are now that they're in Belfiore with no memories.Character Relations: Your original character can't not be related nor can they be second generation to any character here. If the canon character you're related to agrees to this, it's fine; however, do understand if that canon character doesn't stay and a new one comes in not wanting those familial relations that you had with a prior canon then you'll have to readjust your story.Claimed History: Unless discussed with the character in question, you can not claim history / relationships with a canon character. For example, ex lovers and/or trained by said canon character without asking the mun's permission. This can pose discomfort for the canon character in question. We always ask that your back stories that may involve a character whether they're taken here or not should ALWAYS be discussed, otherwise do not mention it. You'll automatically be denied.Races: We won't limit what race your character is, but we may have a hard time accepting characters that are Slimes (Tensura for example), world breaking Gods/Demons, etc. If we do see these concerns in your application, we may request adjustments to be made. If you want to make sure if it's okay before you submit, just @ an admin to make sure.Character Ages: Your character can be any age. As a reminder though, if we see anyone trying to sexualize a minor character in anyway — we will ban. We feel it necessary to not have an age limit in these characters to allow others who may want to play characters that are younger, but only for the sole purpose that some prefer to play characters at their general ages because it makes sense to their story. Anything that causes us to be concerned we will take immediate action.Please review canon characters as well since some of the information there will help when formatting your original character.
CANON CHARACTERS
By entering the world of DEJA VU, your character can't recall who they were before arriving here. It's like they've always been here. Your character shouldn't suddenly wake up and act confused as to how they got here. In their minds it's as if they've ALWAYS been in this world. They see a lot of faces and people that give them some severe DEJA VU, but not sure why. Maybe you knew them once before? Who knows! But for some reason, you may still treat them or act a certain way towards them because of the DEJA VU. Old foe? Maybe you don't like them. Lover? You feel an odd spark. Friendly rival? Instant chemistry. Odd enough, you may feel that getting to know these people feel easier, but it won't stop you from meeting new friends and building new connections. We are a multi-fandom server so we encourage you to branch from your verse.Some important notes about CANONS. We are accepting all canons and their abilities, but there are some that are OP and we have to question their power. Although we don't want to limit your character's ability, just remember this is a story-telling server. There may be fighting such as tournaments or monsters, but it isn't the sole purpose of the server. If you're utilizing your character just to god-mode or give everyone a hard time, you may be talked to. With the way the server is, any fights are usually discussed between writers for story purposes and the only fighting that will have structure is quests as they will be dependent on rolls.For canons who come from modern times — you have the option to change up your attire or keep it as is. This world accepts all walks of life as long as it continues to follow the theme of the world and they won't actually question if someone is walking around in a school girl uniform.When filling out your transcript, think about who would your character be here? Are they pretty much the same? Just no memories. You want to be a little creative here or you may be lucky and you can some-what mimic the character's purpose here. We like to see some kind of change. We don't want you making the same story of the character in this world with no tweaks. There's nothing wrong with keeping them similar in their backgrounds, but it should be changed to fit this medieval world. Some characters may be harder to adapt, but there is a lot of freedom there.Example: Goblin Slayer — he's no different here and still wants to slay Goblins and experience the same 'heartbreak' in his past life, but he wouldn't remember his comrades or recall any prior experiences with them. We do allow others to establish connections with people from their world, but we do push for the memory loss as that's the purpose of this server — this is a multi-fandom/crossover server so we want you to meet characters that you wouldn't normally interact with.

Gender: No rule 63. You can't gender swap / gender-bend a character. For example, if you're Bakugou from My Hero Academia, you can't make them a female here. There is no changing the canon depiction of the character; however there is free range in regards to their identity with making them gender fluid or being trans. Let's say you said Bakugou was a completely transitioned FTM trans that would be okay, but not if you're going in the opposite direction and depicting them different from the series they're from when it's in regards to what the series creator had intended.Character Ages: Your character can be any age. As a reminder though, if we see anyone trying to sexualize a minor character in anyway — we will ban. Anything that causes us to be concerned we will take immediate action.Modifications: You can't modify your character. If they're a human in the anime, you can't make them a elf in this one. Not unless they had a version in their anime where they were. A good example of this is Sword Art Online: Asuna or Leafa during Alfheim. You are bound to the powers and characteristics of the character you choose.Unacceptable Canons: We don't accept exceeds from Fairy Tail in this role-play. They would be considered an NPC. The NPC are characters or extension of characters you may play in correlation to one of your canons. Example: Happy and Natsu or Rebecca and Happy. They would be utilized by their writer attached with that exceed. Some characters may not be present here as they are only used as an NPC, such as Guild Girl.This can change overtime, but as of right now these are the current canon guidelines. We will always change and adapt depending on experiences and members.
